Gabriel Cooper is a psychotherapist associate and mindfulness practitioner. He graduated from Northwestern University, UC Berkeley, and received his Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from CSU Northridge. His compassionate approach aims to alleviate suffering and invite possibility through integrating depth therapy, interpersonal neurobiology, and evidence-based practices including EMDR and mindfulness-based techniques. Gabriel has a deep-rooted passion for recovery and queer communities, and he specializes in individual and group work focusing on anxiety, shame, relationships, and self-exploration. He has trained at Counseling West and the LA LGBT Center. He makes wellbeing and illuminating each person’s unique journey his mission at Multi Concept Recovery. Outside of work, you can find him attempting a new bake or out adventuring around Los Angeles with his mutt and husband.
