Laurie Gori, RADT – Before joining the MCR family Laurie worked for the Burbank Unified School District for over 18 years teaching children the importance of physical activity in their daily lives. She also worked with children with special needs utilizing her compassion and kindness for others to assist children with overcoming obstacles and accomplishing their goals. Laurie is a Registered Alcohol and Drug Trainee who is currently on her path to becoming a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She completed her alcohol and drug program at Sober College and studied psychology at College of the Canyons
Initially, Laurie volunteered as an intern with MCR before becoming a Counselor/ Case Manager. Laurie’s compassion for those in need and motivation to help others is apparent in everything she does. Laurie’s personal experiences as a loved one of someone struggling with addiction motivate her to continue being of service and providing the support that our clients and their families need.
Laurie enjoys spending her free time with her family, especially her 3-year-old granddaughter who she says keeps her grounded and young at heart.
